Connecting People to Possibility

Community members, local businesses, and organizations join together to help connect people to possibility by raising funds for individuals and families served by United Way of South Central Indiana. The annual fund drive supports the work of United Way and grant partner programs year-round. 

No one can tackle these issues alone, but united  we can make a meaningful change.

Nearly half of the families in our region are just one emergency away from poverty, and together, we’re tackling challenges no one can solve alone.

Hard work shouldn’t mean hardship.

Thousands of our neighbors are working, caring for loved ones, and supporting our 
communities—yet still struggle to cover basics like housing, food, healthcare, and childcare.

We call this group ALICE—Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. Nearly half of households in our region fall into this category or live in poverty. One unexpected expense—a car repair, a medical bill—can push a family into crisis.
