Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD)
Community Organizations Active in Disaster for Monroe County (MoCOAD) helps people rebuild after a community disaster. The MoCOAD network is composed of representatives from business, faith groups, local government, and non-profit agencies. MoCOAD helps our community mitigate, prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from large-scale disasters.
Disaster Response Funding
United Way plays a key role in disaster recovery by partnering with local organizations to raise and distribute emergency funds quickly and effectively. Together, we help communities recover, rebuild, and regain stability.
NonProfit Support
In addition to funding, United Way supports local nonprofits through collaboration and resources that strengthen their ability to respond to challenges. Together, we ensure essential services remain strong and accessible—no matter what the community faces.
